Engaged!

We would like to announce some other new news. Chip and I were recently engaged to be married- meaning our sweet puppies will no longer have unwed parents!
Also, as you know--we love Etsy and we even found my ring on Etsy! It was made by a Canadian artist & we absolutely love it- see her shop here.

Doggy Photo Shoots

Surprise surprise- months ( yes months.. close to 4) after getting Bruno and Winnie's photos taken by the Picture People at Petco, their CD finally arrived. Coincidentally enough, it came on the same day Winnie & Bruno had their photos taken for Melissa McDaniel's new photo book on Pit Bulls. (See her projects here, more about this later!)

For now, enjoy these shots of our two babies wearing their beautiful collars from Pecan Pie Puppies. Their new shots will probably be ready in a few weeks. Can't wait!

First item sold on Etsy!

I am officially in business- and with a little help from friends and family, we feel we might be ready to schedule Winnie's surgery for next week. (We are hoping that the vet's office is going to try to set up Care Credit- which will allow us to pay it off over time.)

My first order from my Etsy shop is shipping out today!!
Now that I have sold something- I can start thinking about other items people might like: dog toys and dog beds were suggested- any other ideas? Anything you'd love to have for your dog (or other pet) that I could include in my shop?

Great Etsy Finds for Dogs

As you may know- I LOVE http://www.etsy.com/, it is a fantastic way to decorate on a budget and even get your hands on some one-of-a-kind art. We got our dog collars for our Petco Photoshoot from PecanPiePuppies and our dog tags from UrbanPuppy.

Here are some finds I love in the "Pet Section."
