McDonald's Pit Bull Ad

Finally McDonald's pulled a radio ad that said that eating a Chicken McBite was less dangerous than petting a stray pit bull. Thanks Mickey D's-- but my dog was a stray pit bull once, and I can assure you, petting him is a lot safer than eating your "meat."
Listen to the add here.

First of all, why did they need to air a radio ad saying how safe eating their food is? Well, perhaps because this photo of the "pre-chicken nugget "meat" paste that they use to make their nuggets was leaked onto the internet. Read about how its made below:

Someone figured out in the 1960s that meat processors can eek out a few more percent of profit from chickens, turkeys, pigs, and cows by scraping the bones 100% clean of meat. This is done by machines, not humans, by passing bones leftover after the initial cutting through a high pressure sieve. The paste you see in the picture above is the result. There's more: because it's crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia... Then, because it tastes gross, it will be reflavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color. Read more.
Not only does their food barely qualify as "food," their advertising agency clearly is failing as well. Due to an overwhelming internet response, McDonald's had to issue the following apology:

"The ad was insensitive in its mention of pit bulls. We apologize. As soon as we learned of it, we tracked the source and had the local markets pull the ad immediately. We'll do a better job next time. It's never our intent to offend anyone with how we communicate news about McDonald's," Ashlee Yingling, spokesman for McDonald's Corp.
Good job boy!

HEY MCDONALDS- My Rescued pit bull was a stray!

Starved, Neglected and Alone...

For some reason, the most abused animals in America are pit bulls.
If you are on the East Coast, and have room and time to nurse this guy back to health, please consider fostering/adopting. He will be pulled by Amsterdog if you step up!

Weight: only 31 pounds, I'm going to guess this guy will put on 15 more pounds if not 25 in the next few months. Bruno was only 45 pounds when we got him, he's now 60!

Behavior: Got stiff when approached while gulping food, assessor notes: needs reassessment at normal weight, but Roko got sick with Kennel Cough first. He doesn't seem to like other dogs at the moment, but loves people.

Has $100 in pledges already. Click here to leave a comment on his thread.

Another boy being destroyed today who I can't ignore is this sweetie- Skye. He is neutered but has a bad skin rash. Look at those sweet eyes!

Pit bulls on Craiglist

My pittie-of-the week prompted me to check out Craiglist - and I'm completely disgusted.

One man is trying to swap a pit bull puppy for an i-phone (Only an i-phone 4), really?

I feel so bad for these babies- I wish I had a bunch of i-phones and a home for each one because sadly I can't see good things in the future for these babies:

"RED NOISE PIT BULL 4 YOUR IPHONE 4 , WILL TO TRADE FOR IPHONE 4 ONLY** - $650 (PASSAIC , PAULISON AVE WITH MADISON ST.)"

And then there is this sweet baby pit bull (originally bought for $800) being sold for $1 because this man and his wife are fighting.

"BEAUTIFUL BABY BLUE NOSE PITBULL AND DOG HOUSE FOR DIRT CHEAP - $1 (QUEENS)

WIFE AND I ARE FIGHTING AND I MUST GET RID OF ALL THINGS THAT SHE WANT ME SELLING PURE BREED BLUE NOSE PITBULL AND DOG HOUSE FOR DIRT CHEAP MUST BE DOG LOVER DOG COST OVER 800 AND HOUSE OVER 500 MAKE ME ANY OFFER"

Please don't support Back Yard Breeders on Craiglist or any other website- check out this debate on Craigslist-Pets here.

Pitties of the week: Mamas & Alfie

One of my favorite shelters is Best Friends Animal Society in Utah dedicated to a world with no more homeless pets. Even though they are located in Utah, they make it possible for people all over the country to adopt their animals.

Best friends has 50 Pittie mixes waiting for homes- some from the Michael Vick cruelty case, some victims of hurricane Katrina, and many others. Scroll through and you'll find yourself falling in love more than once.

This week there are two Pitties of the Week:

First up, Mamas:

She's a 6 year old Lizard hunter, loves people and other dogs, loves to play and snuggle!

Mamas was found tied to a tree and starving in the hot Arizona sun with no food or water. She is healthy now, but is very active and needs a home that can keep up with her. Read more about her here.

Next up, Alfie:
This tiny puppy was born in Janurary of 2011. A bout of distemper has left him with little strength in his front legs, so he falls flat on his adorable face whenever he tries to walk. He is adoptable to the right family, but would need a family with patience as his condition improves. For now, he has a chin guard to protect him when he falls. How could you resist this face??

Here's how you can adopt from Best Friends:
First check out the adoptable dogs (or horses, kittens, farm animals-- they have them all!). If you find one you absolutely love, add their name to the adoption application you fill out. (Or email an adoption specialist to help match you.)
Next, after they check your app, you'll get a home check by a Best Friends member in your area.
Finally, all adopters are encouraged to visit the sanctuary- an experience I simply would never pass up (learn all about planning a visit to Angel Canyon here) - but if you can't, they will fly the dog to you for $300-$475.

Learn more about Best Friends' campaign for Pit Bulls- Save America's Dog.
If you have no room in your house to rescue, consider sponsoring- read about how I sponsored a "vicktory" dog, Squeaker, and catch up on Squeaker and the other vicktory dogs, here.

Pittie of the week: Mr. Pink

So excited to unviel my new Friday segment: Pittie of the week!

Each Friday I'll share with you a dog (who I wish I could take home with me!) who needs a temporary ot permanent home.

Through this I'll be able to share with you many of the amazing organizations that rescue pit bulls from horrible situations and give them a second chance. I won't be posting animal care & control pitties because I feel that through the amazing work on the fans on the Urgent facebook page, those dogs get a lot of face-time each day.

I want to highlight the dogs that have been rescued (in many cases through the Urgent Page) but may have been forgotten while they wait in temporary situations (sometimes boarding) for foster homes or permanent homes.

Our first Pittie/Bully of the week is.... (drummm roll please...)

Mr. Pink!

Mister Pink- a five year old American Bulldog mix was found in an abandoned apartment when his owner was arrested and brought to the City Shelter. Because he was scab-covered and skinny, he was placed on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, he was saved by Amsterdog just in the nick of time.

He is neutered, up to date on his shots, micro-chipped, housebroken, good with kids and dogs-- what more could you ask for!

Of Mr. Pink, Amsterdog writes, "In his new foster home, he is blossoming into playful, endearingly goofy pup that has made people say "What a beautiful dog!' When they pass him in the street. Mr Pink is anxious to please, tries hard to be obedient and has mastered basic commands, including the art of walking quietly on the leash and taking food gently. He is also people, child and dog-friendly, but alas, likes to chase cats. If you could spare a soft place to lie on, the occasional massage for his irritated skin, Mr Pink would be your grateful and devoted friend."

Believe it or not, this is what Mr. Pink USED to look like:

You can read the his old Euth. memo and the thread of fb users dedicated to rescuing him here.

Bruno's Twin from San Fran

I recently met online a girl with a pit mix who looks JUST LIKE BRUNO. They look so much alike that she saw the picture of Bruno and I sleeping on Pitter Patter and thought someone had snuck in and taken a picture of her sleeping.

Amazingly- she has had this beautiful rescued dog since he was a puppy- now I get a glimpse at what Bruno probably looked like!! I have always wanted to know since I imagined him as the cutest little puppy ever. Here is Otis- Bruno's twin in SF. :)

Has anyone else met their dog's twin online??

Louis V. (burn victim) glad to see his abuser still in jail...

In 2009, an Alabama man doused his mother's pit bull with lighter fluid and lit him on fire because she wouldn't let him use the car.
That man received nine and a half years in jail- but now wants parole. Luckily, the dog- since rescued and recovering- came to the court room to remind everyone of the cruelty inflicted on him.

  before:
after:

Unfortunately, more than 20% of animal abuse is inflicted on pit bulls.

Like this horrific crime four days ago, this dog fighting bust two days ago in Philly, and of course everyone remembers Patrick- the dog that was found in a trash bag. Luckily these horrible stories can encourage people to adopt pit bulls and also encourage law makers to improve the laws on animal abuse.

Here we see Patrick recuperating:

Funky Mixes in the USA

Hello bloggies--Strut your Mutts!

I was inspired by some of the beautiful mixed breed dogs in my neighborhood to highlight the mixed-breed dogs in shelters-
Mixed breeds have a lot going for them:
1) They are unique
2) They are less prone to genetic diseases
3) You will get lots of questions about them, which helps you make more friends
4) They are often really beautiful combinations of other breeds
5) You won't have to own a "pure-bred"- sorry if you have one (my parents have a "pure-bred" Wheaton terrier) but people who use the word pure-bred as if it matters or somehow makes their dog better than mine  really bother me.
6) You get to do their DNA tests, which is fun

So I decided to highlight some funky and beautiful mixed dogs available for adoption!

Max- A Rhodesian/Lab Mix in New York

Honey - A Blood hound and lab mix in Liberty Center, OH

Scrappy - a Wheaton Terrier and Border Terrier in Chicago

Strauss- an Afghan Hound/ Smooth Collie mix in Atlanta

Basil - a Basset Hound Pit Mix in Chicago

Miniature Pit-bull anyone?
Beacon - a smooth coated Chihuahua and Pit Bull Terrier in Los Angeles

Miami-Dade Shelter Crisis

A deadly outbreak of distemper in a Miami-Dade Animal Shelter has led to a mad rush to adopt or rescue dogs before they will be put down. Due to the severity of the disease, the shelter officials face the tough reality of needing to basically "cleanse" the facility by removing or killing all of the dogs.

Thankfully this has led to overwhelming response from the rescue community- but the dogs will not have homes- rescuers are taking home many more animals than they can possible handle to bide their time and hopefully save them from being exposed to the virus or being killed for having it.

Officials have waived the adoption fee for dogs, but as of Friday night, 100 dogs were adopted, but 180 still need rescue and "one way or another- all the dogs need to do" before the shelter is set to be "sterilized".

Read more here and here
Donate here

The Miami-Dade shelter website provides a list of adoptable dogs, but it is unclear if these dogs are actually still available and why there are only 16 listed.

This golden retriever, known only as "this dog"  is apparently among the dogs that are available and need rescue:

Saving Man's Best Friends in Japan

Since the earthquake and tsunami hit Japan, I have been wondering and hoping about the animals there--with so many humans dead and displaced- you can only imagine what has happened to their family pets left behind. In addition, thousands are fleeing the country with rising fears of nuclear radiation- leaving many of thier pets in shelters or locked homes. Read more here.

Thank goodness for this heroic group Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support - check out their facebook page where you can find stories of their rescues and follow the efforts to save more animals from the badly beaten coastal towns.

The video above is of the now-famous story of the dog that wouldn't leave his injured friend behind--thankfully both dogs have been rescued.

Throwaway Mommy Alert

This week I've come to see the plight of Pit-bull throw-away moms and their puppies.
If the puppies are lucky enough to have a safe, warm, comfortable home to be born in and access to a vet, then they may do just fine and get adopted, but many unwanted pregnant Pitbull mothers can't provide that for their babies, and even fewer people want to adopt or foster a Pregnant pit bull.

These two dogs, Lady and Cookie, were rescued from the Euthanasia list at Animal Care & Control (NYC) today. BOTH dogs were going to be put to sleep, one for having an upper-respiratory infection (easily treatable, but not with Doxy- it harms the fetuses), and one for temple--for growling when pinched during her evaluation-(I would growl too if someone pinched me when I was pregnant!) Can you imagine killing a pregnant dog? Lady is almost ready to give birth to eight puppies!

Today, Lady was rescued by Waggin Train Rescue

and Cookie was saved by Forgotten Friends of Long Island

Both of these dogs are safe for now, but their babies are going to fare much better than they will at finding new homes once they have delivered.

What is worse- after the babies are born and the profit is made for backyard breeders, pit bull moms are often thrown away-tossed out on the streets and often put to sleep at the shelter. If lucky enough to be at a no-kill shelter, these moms rarely get adopted as quickly as their puppies, and often stay far too long. Cha-Cha at Animal Haven is a good example, but due to the diligence of the staff and volunteers to keep her from deteriorating in the shelter, she has a good chance of making it to a home before she gets "kennel burn out."(She has been there 9 months, but went through obedience training and is a staff favorite!)

This dog, Bella, was not so lucky. She was found in a snow storm tied to a dumpster with her puppies who were covered in snow. Since her puppies have been adopted from the Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, Bella has begun spinning in circles and growing grumpy with humans. She needs to be fostered (or adopted) in a home environment with humans before it is too late. If you can help Bella, please call (973) 386-0590.

Amazing what love can do...

I am really inspired by this before/after picture I came across on facebook of this brave dog named Nico.

Now Nico has his very own facebook page :)

Nico is deaf and his cancer has returned since his rescue, but now lives the good life with his sister (who is also deaf and white) in the Midwest.

If you would like to be a part of continuing to save Nico's precious life, you can donate to his cancer treament here.

Here is Nico's article from the LA Times:

"From the LA Times Article on September 1, 2010:
Remember Nico, the defeated deaf white Dogo Argentino at South Los Angeles animal shelter -- who moved so many people with the sad photo of him first posted on Facebook? Nico, the forlorn animal who evoked the agony and utter defeat so many discarded animals must experience? Well, it's a joy to update you on Nico's life.
Things have worked out well for Nico SwanGarris. That's his new name and he lives now with his two moms and new sister, Brisby, a pit bull mix who is also deaf and white, in Indiana. He still loves balls, baths and life as a major couch potato, says Bridget Swan, who, with her partner Melissa, adopted Nico in November 2009.

Last August, Southern California animal rescuer Nikki Audet first posted Nico's photo on Facebook, and Kelley Gibson, a rescuer and animal transporter based in a San Diego, helped get him to the Hamilton County Humane Society in Indianapolis. Nico likely didn't know how lucky a hand he'd been dealt.

He quickly went through training to help him with issues resulting from his deafness and teach him how to navigate in a world of sound. His bumps and nicks and battle scars were attended to. He was happy and safe when Bridget and Melissa decided they wanted to adopt a dog, and Bridget's friend said she should see this dog at the local humane society.

Swan remembers that, at first, the animal agency was a bit wary of her adopting Nico. She didn't understand why until she was clued in by shelter staff that Nico was a bit of a celebrity and they wanted to make sure she was adopting him for the right reasons.

These days Nico walks in parades with his new moms, “loves to sit up close on your feet so he knows when you are walking away,” says Swan, and “in general is 100% low-key. He'll get a wild hair in him once in a while, but he's a mellow guy, and he deserves it after all he went through back then. He just loves people -- despite whatever was done to him -- and gives lots of kisses. He's very generous and free with his kisses. He's just so dependent on us, and he likes to hang with you 24/7.”

Nico has had one setback: A cancerous tumor was discovered and removed shortly after his adoption. Recently, Swan and Garris learned that the cancer has returned, but they remain optimistic about his future. "We are attempting a holistic approach so that we can hopefully avoid an ear amputation," Swan says. "We know that he will beat this just like all the other terrible things he has put up with in the past. He is a loving fighter and is strong."

According to Swan, finding toys for Nico can be a bit of a problem, as he loves and chews up Kongs, bones and anything he can wrap his canines around. He also has hundreds of fans on Facebook who hear about his daily happenings and send him messages of love and support.

Asked what Nico might say now that he's safe and sound, Swan replies: “The main message is this: Just because it's a cute small dog or puppy doesn't mean it'll be your best companion. Go for the downtrodden, defeated dogs, look at the underdog, because they will give you all their love and gratitude and forever be grateful you literally saved their life.”

So this soulful, special dog, once full of sadness, now lives out the good life in the Midwest. It's the happy story ending all dog rescuers wish for but often don't always see -- though every animals deserve nothing less. We're wishing Nico a happy, healthy and cancer-free future!"

THIS is the face of the ACC

UPDATE- Roxy is being pulled by a Rescue group and placed with a foster parent. Hopefully with a couple weeks of antibiotics and a warm bed she will get all better (just like Bruno did).

This is what a stay at Animal Care and Control will do to a dog.

This is a photo of Roxy, happy and alert.

Roxy has been at the shelter only 11 days and has caught a severe case of Kennel Cough.

She is about to be put to sleep today because of her illness, which she caught in the shelter.
In addition, the strain of KC in ACC is extremely virulent and has reduced poor Roxy, who 11 days ago was home with her family who had to give her up due to expenses, to a scared sick animal who is going to die alone.

This is a video taken by a volunteer, you can see how sick and lonely Roxy has become in the shelter environment.

Please someone save her, nurse her back to health and give her the future she deserves.

Behind Bars for Christmas

These sweet animals will be stuck behind bars for Christmas. They don't know that they are missing a warm happy holiday outside of their cells, but we do know that they are probably scared, cold and wishing for a pat, a treat or a hug from the people that pass by their cages.

Thanks to Don't be a Pit-Bully for this poem,

T'was the night before Christmas And the shelter is dark,
The whole place is silent, Not even a bark.
The dogs are all locked in their pens for the night, the staff has gone home and turned out the light.

As I lay my head down on the cold concrete floor, I fondly recall my home from before.
The family I loved, who loved me right back, we'd share everything --from secret to snack.
Things couldn't be better this time last year, but that has all changed and now I am here.

I won't see the tree, the lights, or the snow, I'm scared and alone, my spirits are low.
The others like me weren't put up for adoption, home for us isn't an option.
We've been locked up in cells as if we were crooks, we don't deserve homes because of our looks.
Diesel, or Bingo, or the young one named Percy, deserve to be loved but shown no mercy.

While families celebrate holiday cheer, I know in my heart that my end is near.
The vet will arrive, the lights will go on, by the time you awake, we all will be gone.
A stranger will come and take me away, I'll never wake to see another day.
As I close my eyes I'll shed you a tear, The fondest of memories I'll always keep near.

The only thing I've ever asked of Santa Claus, is to stop all these unfair and ridiculous laws.
You said without me, your life was not full, so why does it matter that I'm a "pit bull"?

In my dream Santa shouts when he's finished his deed,"MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL...REGARDLESS OF BREED"

Please consider rescuing one of these dogs from their certain lonliness on Christmas. Give them a warm place to call home and a family to snuggle with. See adoptable dogs at NYC ACC here.

 Precious - 5 years
Spud - 7 months

Ace - 5 years

Harry - 3 years

 Brandon - 2 years

Albee - 4 months

And in honor of my boyfriend's childhood deceased best friend, Golden Retriever Harry,
Harry - 3 years

Just because it is the holidays, doesn't mean the shelter stops killing. Click on Urgent's Facebook page to see the dogs in dire need TODAY.

Also, for the dogs that were put to sleep by the shelter just days before Christmas; they didn't find homes and never will, but I hope they inspire people to adopt in the future. Here they are below, I'm sorry no one came for them :(

NYC law keeps Pits in Shelters, or will it eventually keep them out?

While checking in with the dogs in Staten Island, Brooklyn, and Manhattan Animal Control website, which I do frequently, I found a volunteer description of a sweet pit mix (1 year old Daddy, below) that said that he was brought in because of NYC's Housing Association ban.

Because little Daddy is a pit mix, he is not able to live in New York Housing Authority buildings. The NYCHA controls 8% of all rental housing in New York City and 5% of the city's population lives in their buildings. (See this 2009 article about the ban for more info.) The ban went into effect May of 2009, a year and a half ago, and does not allow any pit bulls, Rottweilers or Doberman pinschers to live in the buildings. In addition, no animal can be above 25 pounds. Many of these people can offer loving homes to neglected and abandoned animals, but are not allowed to.

This got me wondering how many of the pit bulls I see at Animal Care and Control are a direct result of this ban. Maybe the space and funding of the shelter has less to do with the slaughter of all of these pits than I thought. In the weeks before the ban was enacted, 100 out of 170 dogs that went from Animal Control to NYCHA tenants would have been banned. That means that NYCHA tenants were a significant market for the shelters, and an important part of saving animals' lives.

New York City does have a significant "pit bull problem" as the ASPCA referred to it in 2008. (Read more, here.) Because pits occupy 43% of shelter space and make up 82% of euthanizations in New York City, the ASPCA targeted young black and Latino men (the main owners of the breed) to attempt to sterilize as many pits as possible, for the small donation of $25. San Francisco even implemented a $500 fine for failing to sterilize one's pit bull.

While I feel that both of these laws are discriminatory, the second makes more sense than the first. Listen up, pit bull owners, if you don't spay and neuter your dogs, you had better know that you are responsible for any potential puppies, and you had better be damn sure that they will have healthy and happy lives with people who can and will care for them. Dog owners who have no business bringing puppies into this world for a quick buck are the ones to blame for all the torment and torture these dogs live through. Both of our pit bull mixes are altered, they will bring no unwanted baby pitties into the world, and that is the responsible thing to do. I don't think there can be any excuses for this when there are so many unwanted dogs out there dying when they reach maturity.

So many pits are put down after painful lives, starving on the streets or being fought or tortured by their owners. I would much rather prevent these dogs from ever being born than allowing them to be born just to live a live of torment to end alone and struggling on a cold table at the shelter.

Housing bans are preventing pits at the shelter from finding homes, and that is truly sad. But many residents of NYCHA claim that the pits that live in their buildings are being abused, trained for fighting, and bred for profit. The ban and the breed-specific neutering/spaying proposals would ideally save dogs' lives in the long run, while unfortunately creating more suffering in the short term. As much as I love this breed, I want to see them thrive with good homes. I want to stop seeing heart breaking stories about them. I think the best way to achieve this is to bring them back to being the reliable 'family pet,' and not allowing them to be abused, over-bred, and tortured by thugs. Without allowing them to over-breed, we can bring the pit bull back from the inner-city back into the suburbs, where I am sure they will live longer healthier lives.

A darling dog survives being hit by a car, abandoned, and almost put to sleep!

I've been following "Urgent Part 2"'s posts on dogs to be put to sleep for about a week now.  I've been pretty concerned about the dogs I've seen and tried my best to spread the word for them, but I never thought of fostering them myself- my boyfriend and I are so busy lately and our priority is taking the best care we can of our dog, Winnie.

But then I saw Bruno on the euth list. I didn't expect this 2 year old Brindle boy to capture my heart the way it did, but I read his description and instantly knew I HAD to rescue him. My whole body reacted and I went into rescue mode! I freaked out and tried to contact my boyfriend for the 'ok' to foster (I knew he wouldn't appreciate me showing up with another dog...). I was about to go down to ACC Manhattan when I finally got through on their phone line. They were surprisingly helpful! I found out that Bruno's owner (who had called for him) had until 8 pm to claim him or else he would be at risk to be put to sleep tomorrow. I was told to wait until noon the following day and ran home to explain my scheme to my boyfriend.

Then I got to experience the wonderful people on this facebook group-they instantly supported me in every way possible-- offering leashes, food, supplies, shelter groups to pull the dog asap (tonight), and even help finding Bruno a home after us. I was overwhelmed with the outpouring of help and support! Everyone got together and mobilized to help this dog. Together a network of people can do so much more to save these lives than any one person could ever do. And because of that, hopefully tomorrow morning I'll be able to get this boy out of the slammer!

Now for what is so special about this boy.

Bruno was found tied up and abandoned. Not just abandoned, but he couldn't walk because he had been recently HIT BY A CAR. What kind of person leaves their dog stranded in that much pain? I was shocked. And not only 4 days after he was brought in, he was re-evaluated and miraculously improved and was not falling down but could actually walk again! Of course, this dog who was never given an official behavioral evaluation, was rated "question" at first because he was in so much pain he went to bite the vet (I am not surprised, I probably would too...) Later, when he was all better, the vet gave him a "no concern"--even better than "mild." So why is he being put to sleep when his owner and potential adopters have far less than a week to find him? All his second medical evaluation said he had was "a bruise." I don't think dogs can legally be put down by ACC for a bruise.

This poor boy has been through so much and I the pleasure of rescuing him and helping him recuperate in a loving place. This is the volunteer memo that made Bruno impossible for me to refuse:

11/10/2010 WEB MEMO
A Volunteer Wrote: There is nothing, not one thing, that isn't completely, crazily lovable about this extraordinary dog. He has hearts drawn on his kennel card, for goodness sake!!!! Everyone, men and women alike, swoon over this 2 year old. "What a beautiful dog!" said one vet tech walking by, who then of course had to stop and pet him. Because he is THAT impossible to resist. Our beloved Bruno, who adores other dogs and is the diplmat of his ward, eliciting kisses from all the other dogs through the bars, was found tied up on the street. Now, he is quickly running out of time at the shelter, which makes us absolutely crazy with sadness. Bruno, who is leashtrained, appears housetrained, loves to snuggle and curl up and give kisses and just hang out with human and canine companions, could be a diplomat in the world, not just his ward. PLEASE, don't let this extraordinary dog down. He is one of those pups who will change the lives of everyone around him with his love, generosity, and noble spirit.

Isnt he gorgeous?? I am so excited to bring him home tomorrow morning to meet his foster sister Winnie :)
